Day 12: Eat MORE and LESS :o)
Hello hello!!
I think I am going through some additional detox...I feel a little bit down but I know it is part of the detox diet..so I am haning on there and I am receiving lots of support from Kaleah the best Raw Food Diet coach ever! (check her page at: http://www.myprivatecoach.com/myPrivateCoach/coaches/kaleah_laroche.php)
Yesterday's food:
Lunch: not raw though healthy: 2 small slices of home-made egg less veggie quiche
Snack: raw Italian crackers (amazingly good!!!), a slice of raw Essene bread with raw almond butter, a few almonds
Dinner (at a restaurant) : 1 apple, a green salad and a fruit salad
Today:
Breakfast: an organic avocado spread on 1 slice of Essene bread and an amazing Raw Smoothie which Kaleah created yesterday! Give it a try!
Jogging for 30 minutes (75% uphill and 25% downhill)
Lunch: 1 cup of sprouted buckwheat with walnut/cilantro pesto (and 4 black olives), a slice of Essene bread with pesto, 1 slice of Essene bread with raw almond butter, 4 almonds
Yoga 30 minutes
Now a funny question: am I eating too much?
Yesterday I was talking to my publicist who told me that only me could eat so much and stay thin! Well, I went back to my blog and tried to understand how somebody could have the feeling I ate a lot.
I found it! It is because I am getting a lot of different types of food in one day. But the quantities are very small.
For instance, a slice of Essene bread (raw bread made with sprouted wheat) weighs less than 10 grams!
When I eat a few almonds, it usually amounts to 4.
If I eat olives, I don’t exceed 5.
In the smoothie, I put 2 bananas and 3 oranges and that served 4 of us.
1 cup of sprouted buckwheat has less than 100 calories.
So yes, I am getting a lot of variety but not that many calories.
Give it a try yourself. Try to eat more but less :o)
Have a wonderful day!
